Using the press release provided by Mercedes-Benz, we have found a lot of phrases about this amazing concept car.

Mercedes Benz Eqs Ev 700km Range

. It sounds great, but here’s a note for all classy Mercedes PR teams. This time the car speaks for itself.

This car, the Vision EQS, is Mercedes’ electric S-Class for the far future. no

However, the future is still a long way off, as this is not a fully autonomous small speed boat, its interior and electrical system are something out of science fiction. In fact, Mercedes tells us the EQS uses a pair of electric motors on the front and rear axles, with the battery integrated into the floor between them.

With a rating of 469 horsepower (350 kilowatts), it looks like something you can buy right now. Also, the 435-mile range is impressive, but not ridiculous. Now the Tesla Model S Long Range can do just about that, and when the battery runs out, the EQS has a 350kW charging capability that can process 80% of a charge in 20 minutes.

Mercedes Benz Vision Eqs Rethinks The S Class As All Electric

The power of the concept is not our focus. Wide lines are attractive – Mercedes calls them the design language

– but lights literally and figuratively bring this concept to life. Instead of starting with illuminated brakes, it starts with a continuous 360-degree bright blue stripe that separates the black/silver two-tone finish. Mercedes says it gives the effect of black floating on silver

Speaking of which, let’s get back to that brake. The black panel section has 940 individual lights on 188 circuit boards, covered with digital headlights, giving the front clip a free-floating 3D effect. At the back, Mercedes engineers have installed 229 LED lights with the body, yes, they are small three-pointed stars. Is Mercedes a little narcissistic? It’s possible, but we like to call it that

As for the interior, it largely follows the layout of the concept car, and we were pleased to see a dashboard that controls the car. Mercedes says it’s to keep the driver involved in the driving process, so its proposed self-driving system is stuck at Level 3 – allowing full autonomy only in certain situations. In addition, Mercedes took inspiration from yachts (yes, yachts) from the greenhouses, and the flat floor of the four-seater layout definitely has a cabin cruiser.

When it comes to technology, the future development of the Mercedes MBUX system means that almost all content can be accessed via the digital layout. Materials recycling has become mainstream these days, and it’s all well and good.

The Vision EQS is definitely worth a look. We can only imagine worse things to come for Mercedes, but for now, it’s set to wow guests at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show from September 12.

Stuttgart/Frankfurt. Vision EQS, the way to the future for Mercedes-Benz. At the Frankfurt International Motor Show (September 12 to 22, 2019), Mercedes-Benz will present the challenges of the future: Sustainability is becoming a key component of the brand philosophy and an important aspect of our corporate strategy. Today, the show car fulfills these aspirations and offers a glimpse into the future of large electric luxury sedans. At the same time, it features a special electrical design. With Vision EQS, Mercedes-Benz is making a clear statement about the future of premium cars and autonomous driving. Fine craftsmanship, emotional design, luxurious materials and personal driving pleasure will remain popular in the future. Because now and in the future, luxury also means personal freedom.

Mercedes, Mercedes Amg And Smart Future Models

The VISION EQS takes the progressive luxury design philosophy of the Mercedes-Benz EQ models into a new direction with its innovative, elongated “single bow” proportions. The smooth and powerful sculptural effect of the exterior design gives the show car a striking look – the perfect combination of luxury and aerodynamic elegance.

The familiar, continuous “light strips” are redesigned from the outside. The resulting shoulder color split creates the effect of a “board” glass landscape floating above the silver body – from the EQ front brake to the rear.

Technologically futuristic features include digital headlights, each with two holographic lens modules integrated into a 360-degree external light beam. This not only gives the car a typically Mercedes-styled look, but also allows for an infinite number of light variations, providing the perspective of future Mercedes-Benz light configurations.

The brand logo also has a new mission: 229 bright independent stars form a continuous integrated light strip behind, the brand logo shines as before.

The interaction between the vehicle and its surroundings is not limited to VISION EQS lights. The digital front-end includes the first light matrix of 188 individual LEDs, raising the precision signal to a new level. When the black panel comes to life, free-floating stars and pixels create a three-dimensional effect.

The interior of the VISION EQS is inspired by the world of luxury yachts. The clean, flowing design style creates a new atmosphere of tranquility and translates the modern luxury look into the future.

For the first time, the entire dashboard has been integrated into the bodywork of the front fascia, forming an interior sculpture. With its deep and open space structure, the VISION EQS cockpit surrounds passengers like a ship’s deck. A fully integrated monolithic sculpture consisting of dashboard, center console and armrests floats above the spacious interior, giving a first look at the interior of the brand’s upcoming luxury sedans.

The choice of materials for the interior of the show car also provides a special atmosphere. Mercedes-Benz has developed a more systematic use of sustainable materials and uses both traditional and technologically advanced materials. High-quality DINAMICA microfiber in crystal white is used with a natural wood finish. It is made from recycled PET bottles. Artificial leather is also used, with a finely textured surface similar to Nappa leather. The material used for the front cover comes from a special project: by adding large amounts of recycled “ocean waste” plastic to create high-quality fabrics, the use of sustainable materials is taken to a whole new level.

New Mercedes Benz Vision Eqs Concept Is 470bhp Luxury Ev

VISION EQS presents a large-scale indoor sculpture as a stage for the future: digital content can be experienced in an immersive way, creating an all-encompassing atmosphere. The mix of materials and information represents the intuitive interactions possible in the future.

Monitors and projection surfaces that look organically provide space for display, as do smart connected lights that connect people. Appearances such as the air vents integrated into the decorative elements, the polished speaker in rose gold and the aromatherapy bottles set like jewels in the decorative handles, set the VISION EQS trend and show its elegant craftsmanship.

With electric motors on the front and rear axles and the battery integrated into the vehicle floor, the VISION EQS represents a very balanced vehicle concept. The basis for a dynamic high level of performance and safety is an electric wheel drive, variable axle torque distribution and a battery mounted under the vehicle between the axles. With an output of more than 350 kW and a torque of around 760 Newton meters, the VISION EQS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Performance is not only impressive, but also excellent energy efficiency
